826M40 (EN 26)

826M40 (EN 26) is a 2.5% nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloyed steel with higher tensile properties suitable for applications that require higher tensile than the 817M40. 826M40 can be induction or flame hardened and is suitable for nitriding. 826M40 (EN 26) is stocked in round black bar as rolled / forged conditions only.

Material: 2½% nickel, ¾% chrome, ½% moly steel
Sizes Available: 60mm – 420mm diameters
Special Features: Alloy steel
This material is available in random lengths between 4m – 7m lengths
Available in rolled ex stock
Can be heat treated to your requirements
