Bright Bar Round Peeled SAE 1018 (080A15)

Bright Bar Round Peeled SAE 1018 (080A15) has a good balance of ductility, strength, toughness and excellent welding capabilities. It has a hard surface and a soft core to improve drilling, machining, threading and punching processes. This also makes Bright Bar Round Peeled SAE 1018 (080A15) useful in preventing cracking in severe bends. It is, however, not suitable for through, flame and induction hardening because of its low carbon content.
