Carbon Steel Plate – Graded Material

Graded material carbon steel plate and S355JR plate is a generally flat plate material that has a thickness of 4.5mm or thicker. Plates in the “as-rolled” (S355JA + AR) condition has gone through a rolling process and then it is cooled in static air.

Product applications for this material include cutting and profiling in the engineering industry. The S355 grade’s intended use is for structural purposes. Plates can be bolted, riveted and welded in a full range of structural and fabricated items. These items include bridges, box girders, cranes and general structural projects.
