General Engineering Purposes Square Tube is a hollow section of hot-rolled, welded mild steel. Square tubing is typically stocked in 6 metre lengths and is available in various diameters and wall thickness sizes. The wall thickness of the tube provides an indication of its strength. Square tube is easy to drill, weld and cut and can be galvanised to prevent corrosion. All tubing is produced in accordance with SANS 657-1. Product applications of General Engineering Purposes Square Tube include gates, fencing, security doors, electric fencing, carports/shadeports, general engineering purposes, furniture or exhaust pipes.
