SAGE was engineered to work seamlessly with all of Armstrong’s real-time monitoring products, including SteamEye, AIM®, and The Brain. SAGE raises utility system management to a groundbreaking level by enabling you to maximize equipment reliability, efficiency and safety.
Many industrial processes involve the removal of air/gas from a pressurized liquid. Armstrong air vents are ideally suited for this purpose. The float-operated design means the vents can instantly and automatically adjust to variations in gas flow and pressure.
The stainless steel version of the remarkable Armstrong Trap Valve Station (TVS) gives you two piston-style isolation valves, a test valve and an integral stainless steel strainer with blowdown valve—all merged in a single, versatile package that takes up only 5 inches! What’s more, the unique Armstrong connector makes the TVS compatible with all of these: Inverted bucket, Disc, Thermostatic wafer, Bimetallic, Float and thermostatic and two-bolt steam traps from other manufacturers. The innovation is integration!
A steam trap is a valve designed to sense the difference between steam and condensate, and drain the condensate from the line. Steam traps allow only condensate and gases to drain and “traps” the steam in to provide heat and power.
Controlled humidification helps protect humidity-sensitive materials, personnel, delicate machinery, and equipment. Beyond the important issues of comfort and process control, humidity control can help safeguard against explosive atmospheres. The best way to protect your investment is through proven humidification strategies and solutions pioneered by Armstrong. In business and industrial environments, the performance of equipment and materials is enhanced by effectively applying humidity control.

Mechanical condensate pumps operate with a spring-assisted float mechanism, which means the springs themselves are a major weak point. Armstrong pumping traps have durable Inconel X-750 springs for superior corrosion resistance and longer service life. Armstrong’s Inconel springs last longer than those in competitive models.
A flow meter (or flow sensor) is an instrument used to measure linear, nonlinear, mass or volumetric flow rate of a liquid or a gas moving through a pipe or conduit.
Inverted Bucket Drain trap: Designed for systems with heavy oil or water service. Free-Floating Linkage Drain trap: As liquid begins to fill the body of the drain trap the float rises, openings the discharge valve allowing drainage. Fixed Pivot Float Drain trap: A conically shaped valve is attached to a fixed pivot leverage system. Snap Acting Float Drain trap: A flat spring attached to the leverage system holds the valve closed until liquid level is high enough for the buoyancy to exceed the spring force.
Manifolds for Steam Distribution (MSD): The manifold places all steam supply valves in one location. Standardizing components & centralizing their location simpilifies installation while providing cost saving. Condensate Collection Assembly (CCA): A manifold assembly for more efficient condensate return, placing all collected condensate in one location. Standardizing components & centralizing their location simpilifies installation while providing cost saving.
