Rectangular Tubes
Cold Rolled Rectangular Tube
Cold Rolled Rectangular Tube is predominantly used in the automotive, shopfitting, furniture and exhaust sectors. This tubing is available as commercial quality steel, as well as graded steel (Grades SAE 1008 and SAE 1010). All tubing is produced in accordance with SANS 657-1. Cold Rolled Rectangular Tube special features include that it can be cut to size by band saw or via laser cutting.
Special Profile Rectangular Tube
Special Profile Rectangular Tube is available in commercial quality or as graded steel tubing (Grade S355), and can be uncoated, galvanised or painted. All tubing is produced in accordance with SANS 657-1. Special features include that they can be cut to size by band saw or via laser cutting. Special Profile Rectangular Tube applications include fencing, furniture, scaffolding, construction, utility post etc. Sizes are available per request.
Structural Rectangular Tube
Structural Applications Rectangular Tube is a hollow steel bar made of mild steel. It is hot-rolled and welded into a rectangular shape. Rectangular tubes are typically stocked in 6 metre lengths. Tubes are sized by their wall thickness and outside diameter. Special features of Structural Applications Rectangular Tube include that they can be cut to size by band saw cutting, laser cutting, bending or being rolled to radius. All tubing is produced in accordance with SANS 657-1. Product application: Typically used for structural purposes such as mast towers, roof trusses, irrigation, structures, tow bars, roll bars, racking and shelving, steel bridges and handrails.
