These piping systems are offered with various coatings and linings, but not limited to galvanising, painting, rubber lining, cement mortar lining and wrapping.
TOSAWRAP®
TOSAWRAP®, was initially developed in 1999 and is a proven external shrink wrap product that has self-healing properties if the coating is damaged in any way, thus preventing corrosion and deterioration of the steel pipeline. Tosawrap™ is ideally suited for rural water supply pipelines and exhibits a high resistance to soil stress, external corrosion and offers cathodic protection.
Mac Shouldered Pipe System
Shoulder-ended steel pipes, fittings and couplings to SANS 815-1 • The shoulder-ended system is considered flexible, where certain angular and axial movement takes place within the jointing mechanism • Pipe size range: 50NB to 300NB • Maximum working pressure: up to 25 Bar • Light and easy to install • SATAS permit number: 221.6/1 to apply 815-1 mark • Full range of fabricated steel fittings - Bends 45º, 90º - Equal Tees 45º, 90º - Unequal Tees 45º, 90º - Elbows 45º, 90º - Blank ends - Adjustable bends - Adaptors - Reducers - Setting pieces 5º, 10º, 22.5º
Mac Groove-ended pipe system/Klambon System
Groove-ended steel pipes, fittings and couplings to SANS 815-2 • The groove-ended system will allow for controlled lateral pipe movement, including expansion, contraction and limited deflection • Pipe size range: 50NB to 300NB • Pressure ratings up to 69 Bar depending on joint configuration • Three to five times faster to install than welding on site • Full range of fabricated steel fittings - Bends 45º, 90º - Equal Tees 45º, 90º - Unequal Tees 45º, 90º - Elbows 45º, 90º - Blank ends - Adjustable bends - Adaptors - Reducers - Setting pieces 5º, 10º, 22.5º
Mac Ring-joint system
Ring Joint System: pipes, fittings and couplings The Shurjoint® R88 ring joint piping system is a non-grooved mechanical pipe joining method and an excellent alternative where pipe is difficult to groove or when grooving, flanges or welding is not the preferred method. • Pipe size range: 350NB to 650NB • Maximum working pressure: up to 28 Bar, depending on the joint configuration • Wall thickness and pipe integrity not compromised on ring joint system as with roll grooving • Round steel rings: SAE J403 / ANSI 1020 or stainless steel • Ductile iron housings: ASTM A536 Gr. 65-45-12 / A395 Gr. 65-45-15 • Rubber gasket: EPDM pr Nitrite • Heavy duty bolts and nuts: Zinc plated ASTM A183 Gr. 2 / ASTM A563 • Full range of fabricated ring joint fittings are available • The pipe is supplied with a factory welded ring into each pipe end, galvanised or coated as per requirements
Cable-Lock™ pipe system
• Cable-Lock™ uses the same tried and tested socket system used in the plastic pipe systems, with the addition of the retaining or ‘flex wire’ incorporated in front of the seal to ‘lock’ the two pipes together • Cable-Lock™ pipe is suitable for above and below ground installations • Pipe size range: 50NB to 250NB • Maximum working pressure:up to 25 Bar
Lula/Lula-Lock™ pipe system
Steel pipes rolled to plastic pipe sizes with integral locked socket • Lula pipe system is totally interchangeable • Lula-Lock™ pipe system is the same socket with the addition of the retaining wire incorporated in front of the seal to ‘lock’ the two pipes together • Lula/Lula-Lock™ pipe systems can be laid above or below the ground - no special backfill required • Ideal for rocky areas, river or bridge crossings - no damage through exposure to UV • Less likely to be subjected to illegal connections • Full range of fabricated Lula fittings available, including reduction adaptors between Lula and Cable-Lock™ male and female ends • Pipe size range: 63mm to 200mm OD • Maximum working pressure:up to 25 Bar
Mac flanged pipe system
Fabricated steel pipes and fittings to SANS 1476 • Pipe size range: 50NB to 100NB • Maximum working pressure of system is that of max working pressure of flange.
HVAC pipe system
Supply of Steel Pipe Systems for Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Together with Shurjoint, we can offer systems to meet your needs in building service piping. The basic systems include chilled water, condenser water, hot water, potable water and compressed air. Shurjoint Grooved Piping Systems are a proven alternative to welded systems which offer significant savings on installation time and provide a consistent connection quality. No flame is needed for joining pipe and this results in improved jobsite safety.
